Going through my daily reads I stumbled upon this unique colorful home at Stylia
(by the way it's an inspiration blog, worth visiting some time) and I fell in love with it.
Look how bright and fun this is! Notice the dining chairs, different kind and color each

So, this is how Interior Designers decorate their own houses! Wallpapers, textured walls,
various patterns in every room, modern posters and classic paintings, stripes... and yet it
does not - in any way - look busy or tiring to the eye. On the contrary it looks fresh and
bright, I have a strong belief it is because of the monochromatic color palette.

What happens when you have a dining room and you want to shake things up a little bit?
You know it's time to for some changes and in this case the owners required help from
an interior designer that was given by phone in less than an hour. So the
change was brought by the following simple steps...
...changing the rug
...adding a larger buffet with a vertical mirror (a find from Craiglist)
...replacing the lamps
...changing out the bar cart (brought from another room in the house)
...removing that fake tree (very bad feng shui!)

Hey guys, it's been a long time since I ever posted a blogger tip. You've probably noticed
a pin it button (bottom right side of each image) that appears when you hover on any image
within my posts. It's a very helpful widget, cause it's easier for your readers to pin the image
they want without having to scroll down. Today, I'm gonna share with you how I added that
button with the help of those great guys. It's an easy-peasy tutorial. So here we go:

I so much enjoy seeing splashes of color in small spaces, even though I'm more of a
monochromatic type myself, I think I'll change directions shortly! :) I believe that small

Amazing? Impressive? Stunning? Cant find the right word to describe this house.
It's only 45 sq.m. but oh so beautifully styled! Take this patio for example. I would kill to
throw a little barbecue party there, or hang out with some good friends and family even if it
was freezing cold. The highlight of this house...I think it's the arched walls with the raw materials, or maybe not... it's this lovely and cozy patio...oh I don't know. I'll let the pictures do the talking!
Ceiling Typography?
Ok...that's weird! I haven't seen anything like it before. I've seen painted stripes
or chevron but typography? I must admit though that especially that first
image is quite impressive. What do you think?
