Hi guys! Did you have a good weekend?
As I was "wandering" through the internet I came across a very stylish blog the Knight Moves
After studying it, I just knew I had to share her beautiful bedroom with you.  It's one of my favourites and is Hollywood glam at it's best!

This sleigh bed is incredible! Also love the mirrors on each side of the bed.

You want to see what the room looked like before she purchased the home:

And, the after:

Check out her blog, the rest of her home is just as stunning!

Ηello, hello! Friday today... are you haaaaaappy?????
Soooooo, the menu for today inludes.... bathrooms! Let's take a look at some bathroom storage ideas and more! Most likely some of the following might solve you a storage problem.

Vanity tool drawer <- yes please

Hidden Storage! Ugly mirror, sweet idea!

This could be done in a much more decorative way...hidden behind a piece of art or a mirror or architectural panel.
Clever Storage Ideas (maybe for the bathroom remodel?)

I think this could work for a good place to hide your scale too!
smart!

This one is my favourite, since I detest the idea of a child stool under the sink (as I do for my kiddo)!

My Hall Update (Horizontal Stripes)

COMMENTS
Goodmorning everyone! I am very happy that the "hall project" which we discussed here is finally over. It took me several hours of hard work and effort (and almost tears), but I finally did it! It was all worth it! And the winner of the inspiration photos is..... STRIPES!!! Big Horizontal Stripes! Yes baby, I looooove it! Well see it for yourself how from this....

turned into this....

Much better ha? Brighter + interesting + fun!

I prepared a tutorial for your guys on how to achieve this look.

a. First I had to remove the wallpaper of the wall, which wasn't an easy thing at all. I had to wet all the surfase with hot water and then peel it off little by little, so that no part of the wall would come off. Then remove very carefully the mirrors...

this is what was left when I was done with the wallpaper...

b. Then I prepped the walls. I washed them with water and a mild soap in order to remove any glue might be left. I then painted them (just one quick coat) with the same existing colour. Then I marked the spots where the tape should be placed with the help of a ruler and a pencil. At this point you should know how wide your stripes want them to be. I made mine at 18cm. each and it gave me at total seven stripes. This is where you ought to be extremely careful so that your stripes will be absolutely straight and of equal height. I also marked with an "X" the areas to be painted, in order to avoid any mistakes on the way...

And there you have it!

Isn't it georgious?

This is what you see as you walk into my house from the front door.
Hmmm. something's missing though...

maybe adding a mirror... aaaah much better now!
(I should do something with this wing chair though. I don't like it the way it is now.
Maybe put a leather on it... maybe next project?)

Not an easy project I'm telling you, but I really really enjoy it now!

Purple Rain

Are you fond of purple in a room? I personally believe that it is a more feminine colour, so a little difficult for men to digest it. Anyhow, you can take a look at the following fotos in order to help you decide if you like it or not and then let me know your thoughts.
Blueprint. Mustards and golds against the light purple are romantic and pop at the same time.

John Saladino. I think it works quite well in a bedroom. It's romantic and soothing and the moldings and shadows are beautiful with the color.

Hal Williamson. I love the giltwood furniture with the lavender color.

Drake Design designed this fun lavender bedroom with lavender grass cloth walls and amazing glass lanterns.

Pinterest I love round/octagonal rooms and the metallic ceiling with dramatic purple silk drapery.
Well now that you have an idea you are most welcome to share your thoughts.

I am obsessed with white spaces these days. I find something so comforting in the fact that light and bright spaces never fail to be beautiful. Not that there is any magic formula to great interior design but this combination is a great place to start!

so perfect! Magical!

Adding some accessories of this sweet beige & gold colour for a more natural setting will reward you with  perfection! One of my favourites!

Did you hear the news? J.Lo. was shot! Well... really? Ehm.... not literally... kidding! It was just her house in California that was shot for Veranda magazine! Simple lines, pale colours and some glamourous items make this home feel very cozy.

The Living Room: soft blue, white and grey undertones.
(detail: notice that none of the tables is a match)

The Kitchen: same colour scheme repeating and vintage appliances.

The Dining Room: I want those chairs NOW!

The Bedroom: beige colours, wonderful chandelier and great transparent legs mini seat.

The Sitting Room: chic and modern, simple and elegant. Pale blue and grey again as the colour scheme.

All images found here.

I hope you enjoyed the tour.

Mirrored wall hall: A good way to expand a small & narrow place like my hall.

Mirror art hall: a similar idea as above, though I am wondering.... too many holes?
