Dreamy Living Room

I found this living room in Jessie's blog Mix and Chic and I instantly fell in love with it! As Jessie specifically says "The beautiful vaulted ceilings, the charming stone fireplace and the wall of closets in the living room are some of the great features that stole my heart when I first saw this home."
Well guys, I think this is my dream living room! I love everything about it...the wonderful colour palette she's using, the white stools in front of this stunning fireplace, the sofa, the paintings... everything!
Enjoy!

DIY: A Changing Table, a Nursery and a Rug!

Hello there! How are you doing this lovely morning?
Do you fancy some DIY today? Yeaaaaaaaaah
Well, the best part of the makeovers is the before and the after pictures. Am I right guys? Who doesn't love comparing a before and after photo? I know I'm craving for this!
So, today we have some transformations from a lovely couple who own the blog Sawdust and Embryos.
They first revamped this old and cramped dresser to a changing table for their nursery (twins were on their way!), and they took it from this....

You've nailed it!

Nails! Nails! Nails! (sounds like an Aerosmith song, right?)
I have a thing with nail heads lately! Whenever I see a nailed piece I'm stuck! Nail heads can outline the interesting shape of a piece of furniture.  It's amazing what they can do for furniture, or even walls!

Check out these amazing images featuring nail heads...

What a great way to add glamour to a room!

Nails really make these furniture!

This is a sideboard from IKEA with nailheads on! Wow, what an idea!

Wow! That sofa! Could I probably do that on the bottom half of mine too?

Simple doors and boring hallway? Add some nailheads and you'll see the difference!

Colourize your Kitchen!

Are you a type of colour or not? Do you like to dear with colourr? Do you use bold colours or you prefer the always safe choice of neutrals?Well, if you are a neutral colour type then this post may not be one of your favourites. But if this is the case,  have you considered adding colour just in one room? And this room might be... the kitchenn! I believe that kitchen should be a fun and pleasant place. This is a space where we can express all our decorative worries and experiment with colour either on the walls or on accessories. Take a look at the following pictures and maybe you'll be convinced. If on the other hand you are a type of colour.... then please.... just enjoy!

Chairs Makeover

The following chairs were so out of date and so boring! So this lovely lady from

the Two Thirty-five Designs decided to revamp them.

And here are the results...

WARNING: The following pictures may hurt your eyes!

Well... you will be a little bit surprised with today's post. It is not about something nice or artistic or lovable. It sure isn't a bliss! It is about two different appartments that are somewhat unusual. I would say that this is when people overdo it with a specific style. Check this out for yourselves.
