So this is - or should I say "was"- the 4-piece set of our kitchen chairs.
For a long time now I've been wanting to do something about it. As you can see the seat
is just plain wood and therefore not comfortable at all! Ouch!
So while staying indoors the past few days I told myself and my kids... lets do something creative!
Let's revamp these kitchen chairs!
6 Euros! Plus 3 Euros for the foam... Total cost 9 Euros (i.e.11.5$) for all four chairs!
First we unscrewed the wooden seat out of the base of the chair
and we were left with this
Then I cut and stapled the foam on the wooden seat
Diddo for the fabric
And voua la!
Now, not only they look way better, they're more comfy too!
OK.. this may be the fastest and easiest project ever! The whole process took me a little less
than an hour, it was pretty fun, and with the total cost of 9 Euros, I think it is a damn goodand successful makeover!
