Now tell me, would your kid prefer to get up in the morning or stay in bed

What an awesome idea, don't you think? You just need a canopy and some white
Christmas lights that anyone has at storage and there you go... you just created a magical

Changing the linens and the duvet (ok and  the nightstand and the chair!) and a few accessories
can bring a drastic transform into the bedroom. The mood and atmosphere in these 5 different looks is mostly set by the different type of linens. Which one is your favorite look?

Ceiling Typography?

Ok...that's weird! I haven't seen anything like it before. I've seen painted stripes
or chevron but typography? I must admit though that especially that first
image is quite impressive. What do you think?

These pastel colors remind me so much of my childhood!
Innocent, pure, beautiful, kids' laughters... words that instantly come to mind.

Rooms With Character

Very often we get to see rooms and spaces that are very eye-catching and properly
styled. And there are some other spaces that when you look at them you have to stop and

stare at it for a while, spaces that are really something else cause they stand out, due to its artwork / an accent piece / wallpaper / color combination / mix of styles. This is what we call spaces with personality and character. Like these ones!

White Spaces I Love

I'm so into white spaces lately, especially when they have a little bit (or more) of
black in to the color scheme. Those rooms look so bright and fresh and serene, couldn't
really choose a fav of mine. Ah...I'm in love!

Girl's Bedroom Reveal! (and how to paint polka dots on a wall)

I finally got around to taking some pictures of my daughter's and son's bedrooms that recently got a mini makeover. Let's start with my daughter's room, shall we? I gave you a hint back in August here and
some of you got an idea. But... first thing first. Let me show you the photo that has been my
inspiration for its specific wall for quite a long time now (by Emily Clark):
Above circles are wall decals and I wish I had known that before, because in fact I didn't
and I only found out later on... after I had PAINTED each one out of 100 circles!
Anyways, I'm happy that I did and I'm proud to finally reveal my little girl's bedroom!
So this is our own painted version of polka dots:

Or better how to move in such a room with style! Four different plain and boring dorm rooms

DIY: Loft Bed (by Joanne)

Hi I’m Joanne from Create Inspire Motivate, a 3½-month-old blog, published by the girls in our family sharing our inspirations, projects, successes...and even some failures.

We are three sisters Mandi, Michelle & Nicole, one sister in law Jackie and the mom (that’s me). Each of us has different interests and talents but we’re all very resourceful and we love to create.
Olga asked me to share with you a little about the redo my husband and I have done on my son, C’s, bedroom. This is the second post in what will eventually be a 4-5 part series. Almost every aspect of the room is a DIY project in one form or another and some areas are still “under construction”.

The reading couch was our first pallet furniture project but hopefully it won’t be our last. While it’s only in inspiration form now, I predict that in the future there will be a post about the building of an overstuffed pallet ottoman with storage space for my family room- we’ll see.

Goodmorning everyone!
My sister in law asked me yesterday for some bedroom inspiration photos, as she is looking for an update in her master bedroom. Well, here they are! Pastel and neutral colour pallet as she specifically asked. Not my type of bedroom, but I must admit that they all look nice, clean, serene and tranquil.  Plenty of inspiration photos for those loving this look!
