Girl's Bedroom Reveal! (and how to paint polka dots on a wall)

I finally got around to taking some pictures of my daughter's and son's bedrooms that recently got a mini makeover. Let's start with my daughter's room, shall we? I gave you a hint back in August here and
some of you got an idea. But... first thing first. Let me show you the photo that has been my
inspiration for its specific wall for quite a long time now (by Emily Clark):
Above circles are wall decals and I wish I had known that before, because in fact I didn't
and I only found out later on... after I had PAINTED each one out of 100 circles!
Anyways, I'm happy that I did and I'm proud to finally reveal my little girl's bedroom!
So this is our own painted version of polka dots:

I have received many comments and emails lately, asking me for more Before & Afters posts.
And since today is Friday, which means getting to know another fabulous blogger, I thought
I might combine both a guest blogger and your request in one post!
Because, my lovely readers, your wish is my command!
So, here we go...
BEFORE:

This is a classroom. I imagine you can tell that, but what you my not know is that the teacher
is absolutely responsible for its transformation! And when I'm talking transformation, I
mean great and big and gorgeous remodeling. You won't believe your eyes when you

DIY: Loft Bed (by Joanne)

Hi I’m Joanne from Create Inspire Motivate, a 3½-month-old blog, published by the girls in our family sharing our inspirations, projects, successes...and even some failures.

We are three sisters Mandi, Michelle & Nicole, one sister in law Jackie and the mom (that’s me). Each of us has different interests and talents but we’re all very resourceful and we love to create.
Olga asked me to share with you a little about the redo my husband and I have done on my son, C’s, bedroom. This is the second post in what will eventually be a 4-5 part series. Almost every aspect of the room is a DIY project in one form or another and some areas are still “under construction”.

The reading couch was our first pallet furniture project but hopefully it won’t be our last. While it’s only in inspiration form now, I predict that in the future there will be a post about the building of an overstuffed pallet ottoman with storage space for my family room- we’ll see.

Simple Easy Wall Update

COMMENTS
I was at a birthday party the other day that our good family friend Maria and her husband threw for their little boys. When I had first visited their house, their kids room had a simple, beige, boring wall color. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of this before wall (and why should I shoot a simple, beige, boring wall!) but 'm sure you can picture this in your mind!. So now when I entered the same room a surprise was waiting for me. The hubby had painted the walls in such a way to create a highway scene, used colours to create the ground effect and then placed some McQueen stickers on. So simple! So easy! So much impact! The boys were really excited with the outcome! And I was amazed by the result!

Hello there! How are you doing this lovely morning?
Do you fancy some DIY today? Yeaaaaaaaaah
Well, the best part of the makeovers is the before and the after pictures. Am I right guys? Who doesn't love comparing a before and after photo? I know I'm craving for this!
So, today we have some transformations from a lovely couple who own the blog Sawdust and Embryos.
They first revamped this old and cramped dresser to a changing table for their nursery (twins were on their way!), and they took it from this....
