House Tour: A house in California

To describe this magnificent house I''ll borrow a phrase I found in Casa Tres Chic one of my daily reads:
"The greatest luxury is to live with comfort and simplicity and with daily contact to nature"!
Couldn't have agreed more!

The "Clever" Room

Eclectic Living Room design by Mexico City Architect vgzarquitectura y diseƱo sc

I'm a subscriber to Houzz for a long time now and I enjoy reading it every single day.
There was this article the other day about how small spaces can surprise us with comfort and efficiency,
due to a competition that was held in New York city  and many designers and apartments took place.
I was particularly drawn to one specific room which impressed me so much. I call it the "clever" room!
Why? Well take a look at the following pictures and you'll find out yourselves.

Gold Lust! (by Honey Sweet Home)

Hey there Stardust Readers – I’m Samaa from Honey Sweet Home – thank you so
much to Olga for having me!
Today I thought I’d share one of my favourite recent trends – gold + brass accents,
I just can’t get enough! Whether its decor or fashion, I’ve become obsessed!
The look is so elegant and classic, and oh-so glam :) And as much as these hues have
gone in and out of style, I think the right shades can be totally timeless. Plus, with
a little spray paint, gold leafing, or rub n buff, it’s so easy to get the look for less!
Here’s a roundup of some gold mirrors I’ve been crushing on lately:

DIY: Welcome Mat (by Thrifty Crafty Girl)

Hi there, Stardust readers! I'm so thrilled to be Olga's guest here today!  I'm Priscilla and I blog
over at Thrifty Crafty Girl.  I craft and decorate on a budget and I try to make you giggle a little too.
Let me show you what I have for you today!
This welcome mat project starts with a little wood, some shelf liner and some river rocks.  How
much of those things depends on how big you would like your mat... I made mine EXTREMELY
BIG, which I regretted halfway through.  Now that it's done, I love it!

Grab some shelf liner and river rocks.

How To Style Your Coffee Table

Coffee tables are in the center of the most high traffic area in your home. This makes it as more important
to decorate as any other room. A coffee table has to be decorated with appealing items to look gorgeous.
In fact, a well designed coffee table adds style and personality to the home. I remember having heard that
all you have to add to a piece of furniture to create the perfect styled vignette are these three things:

Beautiful and Versatile Garage Doors

* This is a Sponsored Post on Wooden Garage Doors *

garage doors
Wooden garage doors not only give a natural and elegant look to your house, but also increase its value
to a great extent. As wooden garage doors are not produced readymade by the manufacturers, hence
it is possible to shape them according to your garage, which can easily fit any size or shape. For this
reason, they can easily adjust to various difficult shapes such as overhead arches, or uneven garage
locations. Unlike metal garage doors (steel, aluminium, etc.), wooden garage doors do not dent and
can easily survive stray hits from basketballs or similar other things.
